About

Built for my own apps first.

I'm Primož. I build apps, FileFast among them, and when I started trying to get them to rank higher in the App Store I ran into the same wall everyone does. Which phrases do people actually type? How many? Who already owns the first page? And the question nobody answers: what is in the keyword field of the app above me, the hundred characters no one can see?

Every tool I tried either showed me a "search volume" it had modelled from downloads, or wanted a serious monthly fee for four columns, three of which come straight from Apple's own endpoints. I could see that a real answer takes a number of live store searches and Apple Search Ads calls per phrase, and that the calls are the honest part. The rest is presentation.

So I built the thing I needed: paste a competitor, wait two minutes, get every phrase it ranks for with Apple's popularity, first-page difficulty, its position, and a mark on the ones that can only be in its hidden field. I use it to watch my own apps and the apps beside them. If it helps you too, that is the point of putting it online.
