Did the Play Store move today?
Apple never announces an algorithm change. So every morning we compare every tracked keyword and every top-100 chart we hold with the day before, and count the share that moved ten places or more. A calm day means what changed is yours; a shaken day means wait before you touch anything.
Play: tracked keyword positions on the search page, no charts (Google publishes none).
Today · every storefront
Two mornings of data are needed for a first reading.
- Keywords
- 0 of 0
- tracked positions moved ≥10
- Charts
- 0 of 0
- top-100 rows moved ≥10
By storefront
The same reading per country. A shaken storefront on a calm day is a local change, often a category re-ranking.
Two mornings of snapshots are needed for the first per-country reading.
Shaken days
None yet. When a morning crosses 30% it gets its own dated page here, with who climbed and who fell.
What to do on a shaken day
- 1. Do not touch the listing. A change you make today gets credited or blamed for Apple's move.
- 2. Open My keywords: the yesterday column shows which of yours moved, and whether the whole store moved with them.
- 3. Wait a morning. Half of the shaken days settle back the next day.
How the reading is made
- Two samples, every morning at 07:20 UTC
- Every keyword tracked on aso.best, position today against yesterday in the same store. And every top-100 chart we snapshot: 22 storefronts, free, paid and grossing, every category for the largest stores.
- What counts as moved
- Ten places or more, or leaving a list from a position that was not already at its edge. Small moves happen every day and are ignored.
- Calm, moderate, shaken
- Under 15% moved is a normal day. 30% and over is shaken and gets a dated page. The keyword sample is ignored on days with fewer than 20 comparable positions, so a thin sample cannot swing the reading.
